John Pyle and Justin Olson created PoolTrac in 2008 to streamline pool and employment management. Since then they have added valuable team members, who continue to work together creating the most efficient tracking and management system.
PoolTrac is the brainchild of John Pyle and Justin Olson. In 2008, John Pyle opened his own residential/commercial pool management company. Justin Olson, owner of his own IT consulting firm, provided support and set up for John’s business. These two long-time friends found a collaboration between their two industries in the development of PoolTrac. They decided to join forces and create their own company together to move PoolTrac into a new direction. Initially used for record keeping and data collection, PoolTrac was created for the purposes of better documenting of chemicals and pool services in its most basic form. However, as they continued development of their product, they realized it was capable of offering so much more. The two realized that they had a viable product that other pool companies may find beneficial. Years of testing, improvements, and marketing helped put this product on the map. Justin developed native Android/Apple apps and has continued to develop PoolTrac into what you see today. The rest, as they say, is history.
